Darah Bohl
Darah is a dually licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in Kansas and Nebraska and holds her certificate of clinically competency (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). She has extensive experience in all clinical settings, including: acute care, assisted living facilities, early intervention, home health, ICU, NICU, outpatient clinics, private practice, rural hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, schools, and teletherapy. Darah also is very passionate about working with the full lifespan and enjoys a variety patients on her caseload, from just a few hours/days old to 100+ years old.

Darah also earned an Award for Continuing Education (ACE) in February 2023. The ACE is a formal recognition of professionals who have demonstrated their commitment to lifelong learning by earning 7.0 ASHA continuing education units (CEUs) (equivalent to 70 contact hours) within a 36-month period.
Darah earned her Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology with honors from Fort Hays State University, as she was the recipient of the Outstanding Graduate Student Award and the Communication Sciences & Disorders Outstanding Student Representative.
Darah also conducted the research study, Speech-Language Pathology: The Best Kept Secret? in association with Fort Hays State University (from Aug 2019 - Sep 2020). This study investigated what students from Fort Hays State University know about the profession of speech-language pathology. Non-major students completed a survey regarding their knowledge and exposure to the speech-language profession to identify any possible awareness trends and/or related factors. Results included fair knowledge of the profession with some gaps.
She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders with honors from Kansas State University, as she was the recipient of the Outstanding Senior Student Award for Leadership and was selected as the 2018 Commencement Speaker. During her time at Kansas State University, Darah was also inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, Delta Alpha Pi Honor Society, XIX Chapter of Mortar Board National Senior Honor Society, Theta Chapter of Kappa Omicron Nu Honor Society and served as President for one year, and received Scholastic Honors.
When Darah is not providing speech, language, and swallowing therapy, she loves playing with her daughter, spending time outdoors with their herd of 40+ animals (farm cats, chickens, and turkeys), and enjoys all of farm duties and tasks that come with being married to a dedicated and innovative Kansas farmer!
